Coming from flukes1and netkas, you can now patch official PS3 firmware updater (.PUP) files to add Peek & Poke Syscalls--which enables backup manager to work on the newly released custom firmware. As of right now, backup managers need to tweaked to take advantage of this Patch but once tweaked, it should be able to load PS3 backups from the hard drive. So, we'll have to wait until developers release an update to their backup manager.
