PS3 firmware v3.55 spoof for Rockbox compatible devices



For those of you who use the Rockbox bootloader on devices like the iPod, Sansa, or iRiver to jailbreak your PS3, you can now spoof your PS3's firmware to v3.55--blocking your PS3 system from requesting an update to firmware v3.55.

PSGrade comes to Rockbox. Use iPod video or Sansa e200 to downgrade your PS3



Developer shuffle2 has successfully ported PSGrade over to Rockbox. Now you can use the following portable devices to downgrade any PS3 running firmware v3.41 or v3.50: iPod video (5G), iPod (4G), iPod Mini (2G), iPod Nano (1G), and Sansa e200. Currently, only the source code is available therefore, you'll need to compile it first before you can use it. We'll keep you posted once we get our hands on the compiled version.

Rockbox PSGroove Installer v2.1.1 released



RockBox is a PC application used for installing PSGroove onto various portable devices, such as the iPod (classic, nano, mini), Sansa, iRiver, etc.
