After a wild ride with his first custom firmware release (v1), Waninkoko is back with v2! The release of this custom firmware v3.55 v2 comes with an apology for what had happened to those who installed his first release--simply put, their PS3 transformed into a piece of brick. Now, we're not implying that v2 will have the same effect as v1, but USE WITH CAUTION!

Waninkoko's custom firmware v3.55 released. Supports PS3 backups

Developer Waninkoko has done it. He has finally released his rumored custom firmware v3.55. What's different about his custom firmware from geohot's custom firmware is the fact that it supports the running of PS3 backups through the backup manager (e.g. multiMAN manager).
