For those who lost the ability to play Blu-ray movies on their PS3 right after downgrading, there may still be hope left--not that you have given up, right? The download link below contains several files that you can use to restore Blu-ray movie playback on your PS3.
Instructions:
1) Download the file below and extract it onto your desktop.
2) Transfer the content (folders) inside the 'drm', 'vsh', and widget' folders to the appropriate directory on the PS3. Note: You can use Comgenie's Awesome File Manager to transfer the folders from a USB flash drive onto the PS3.
3) Restart PS3 and verify.
