Flukes1 releases LV1 and LV2 (peek and poke) tools. Full PS3 game backups is near
Oh man. Sony is not going to like this news. Developer flukes1 has released his LV1 and LV2 peek and poke tools which other developers can use to gain full read and write access to the PS3's hypervisor (lv1) and GameOS (lv2). These tools are not meant for game piracy but can certainly enable backup managers to work properly on geohot's custom firmware! Of course, these backup managers would have to be modified in a such a way to support the loading of PS3 game backups from the hard drive--surely we'll see some in the coming days.
