An end to PSN and online play for jailbroken PS3?

It would appear that logging onto PSN or online play on a jailbroken PS3 is not possible any longer.

This is what you'll see on a jailbroken PS3--requesting for a system update, when trying to log onto PSN:



And you will see this (image below), if you are on a non-jailbroken PS3 running firmware v3.50. Down for maintenance:

 The PlayStation Network is offline for scheduled maintenance from 16:05 on Thursday 18 November 2010 until 01:00 on Friday 19 November 2010, GMT. This is for Europe however it also generally means there will be downtime for the US as well, we expect the official US announcement later today.

During the maintenance, you will be unable to access the following services:

* PlayStation Store on PS3 and PSP.
* PlayStation Network Account Management.
* PlayStation Network Account Registration.

In addition, you will not be able to sign in to PlayStation Network from eu.playstation.com. If you wish to play online during the maintenance, please ensure you sign in to PSN before 16:05 on Thursday 18 November 2010 GMT (about 11:05 EST).
